Achieving Excellence in Safety

Site-specific safety plans and hazard assessments are completed before every job. Operators are trained for the equipment they run and the chemicals they handle. Emergency response equipment, such as onboard showers, flush stations, and fire suppression systems, is standard on the units that require it.
When something changes on-site, our crews have the authority and the expectation to stop, reassess, and proceed only when it is safe to do so.
Hiring, structured onboarding, and a mentorship period where new operators work alongside experienced crew before running independently ensure the best crew members are on your site. No operator goes to a job site unsupervised until they have demonstrated the knowledge and judgment the work requires.
Our operators are trained on the equipment they run and the chemicals they handle. Training is documented, current, and verified. New operators work alongside experienced crew before running independently.
Every Diamond Valley job begins with documentation completed and clear communication before the unit leaves the yard, including site-specific safety plans, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses tailored to the scope, location, and chemicals involved.
Safety features are specified at the equipment level and maintained as part of our fleet management program.
COR certification requires ongoing internal audits and periodic external audits to maintain standing. Our safety management system is reviewed and updated as industry practices, regulations, and our operational scope evolve.
Near misses, incidents, and hazard observations are reported, investigated, and fed back into our active safety management system. The goal is to identify and address root causes.
Diamond Valley operates acid pumping, bulk acid hauling, and chemical injection services — all involving materials that demand specific protective measures at the equipment level. Chemical handling safety is designed into our fleet.
Every acid pumping unit in our fleet is equipped with either an onboard emergency shower or a flush station. Every bulk acid trailer carries an onboard rinse station and dedicated flush tanks for post-pump line clearing. Chemical injection skids are operated with appropriate PPE and hazard controls in place for every deployment.
Operators handling acids and corrosive chemicals receive chemical-specific training before working independently on any acid program.
Diamond Valley is COR Certified. COR certifications are verified through external audits and maintained through ongoing performance to ensure we meet only the highest industry standards.
Diamond Valley is verified on both ISNetworld and ComplyWorks: the two primary contractor safety and compliance management platforms used by oil and gas producers in Western Canada. Documentation is current and maintained.
Site-specific safety plans and hazard assessments are completed for every Diamond Valley job before the unit leaves the yard. Our plans are tailored to the specific scope, location, chemicals, and conditions of each program.
Our acid pumping units are equipped with either onboard emergency showers or flush stations as standard equipment. Bulk acid trailers carry onboard rinse stations and dedicated flush tanks. Operators handling acids and corrosive chemicals receive chemical-specific training, including WHMIS compliance, emergency response procedures, and equipment-specific protocols, before working independently.
Our team members are trained on the specific equipment they operate and the specific chemicals they handle before working independently. New operators work alongside experienced crew during a supervised period. Training is documented and current across the workforce.
Diamond Valley operators have both the authority and the expectation to stop work when site conditions or unexpected hazards make it unsafe to continue. They proceed only when conditions are confirmed safe. This is embedded in the safety management system.
